Happy Halloween

Hey Everybody! Anton, Fozzie and Lucy saying Happy HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEN!!!! It's our second favorite time of year, Christmas is first of coarse. This year we decided to do something together. We put our heads together and I think we did pretty good with some help from Mom. We would like to introduce the newest, coolest rock band from Traverse City Michigan!!!

Mom helped us pick out our name, she said it reminded her of some band that she use to listen to when she was younger called Motley Crue I think. She showed us a picture of them, they looked pretty cool!

We had a lot of fun putting together our costumes. We each got to decide how we wanted to dress up. I (Anton) wanted to wear the hat, but my head wasn't big enough, so Fozzie with his big head got to wear it. That's okay because I think it looks really good on him. Lucy got to spray her hair pink, it smelled really bad, but it looked great. I really didn't want pink hair, that's a girl color. The hardest part for me was keeping the glasses on, it was hard sitting still to keep them on but I think it was worth it.

Hope everybody has a Happy Halloween and remember ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My walk downtown

Hey everybody it's Fozzie. Mom and I had a great day in Traverse City that I just wanted to share with everybody. We started out with a walk downtown with is always exciting. I always experience something new when we go there. This time was no exception. The day was very windy, so there were lots of leaves and things the were blowing around. Every now and then something would blow up from behind me and surprise me, but I recovered quickly. But after awhile I started to get use to thing sneaking up on me.

I did get to meet a lot of people. I always have people stop me and Mom and I get lots of people petting me. I like to get petted. I even got my picture taken by this girl who just got a new camera. She was very nice and she told me that I was very cute. So that was very exciting.

I did have one scary thing happen. We were walking and we had to go through this thing that Mom called a tunnel. I thought it was very scary but I was brave and walked right through it. What made it so scary was that it made the funny thumping noises when we walked and when other people walked. I kept hearing those thumping noises behind us, but Mom told me that it was just the people walking that just passed us. I didn't really care it still was scary. But with a bit of help from Mom we made it through. Mom says that next time we were going to go through the tunnel that goes under the road. I think it sounds pretty scary. I am not sure why anybody would want to walk under a road. Maybe Anton will come with me so it will not be so scary.

When we got back to the truck I had to take a nap after stopping to see all those people and the whole thing with the wooden tunnel. I like sleeping in the truck. Of coarse I woke up when Mom stopped and had to go in the store. She gave me a special bone to chew on that she said it would help keep me busy and out of trouble while she was in the store. And it did keep me busy and out of trouble.

Well, it is almost dinner time and I can't be late or Anton will eat my dinner. We are busily working our Halloween costumes so when we get them done we will post pictures! They will be great!!!

Bye for now!

Exciting Walk Downtown

Hey everybody, its Anton! Just wanted to let everybody know about the exciting Saturday I had. Mom took me for a walk downtown. It was fun, there were a lot of people walking around. Everybody thought I was a very good dog and very cute! Mom and I got to talk to abunch of people, everybody was very nice and I got lots of pats on the head.

My most exciting part of the day was when I got to meet my first horse up close!! He was huge, his feet (Mom says they are called hooves) were as big as my head. I would have hated to get stepped on by him. He was a very nice horse, I think I was more excited to meet him than he was to meet me though. But he was pretty cool anyway.

Mom and I also walk around what the call the openspace here in Traverse. That was fun too. There was this little train that went around the openspace and park. I wanted to go for a ride on it, but Mom said they didn't allow dogs. I didn't understand why not, they let kids ride on it and I am better behaved than most kids!
So we just sat and watched it for awhile. I got very excited because there were a lot of squirrels running around. Yummy!

On the way back to the truck we stopped to take my picture on the walkway by the river. It was a very nice place for a picture. Mom told me to sit and stay and I was doing really good until I heard my name. I couldn't figure out were it was coming from. Then i saw him! This bad duck was calling me and teasing me. He kept saying "Anton, come get me", "Anton, come get me." It was very hard but I resisted and held my sit stay so mom could get my picture! She was so proud of me!

My First Art Show!

Hi everybody, Fozzie here. Well last weekend was yet another first for me. I went to my first art show. Mom said we were going for a trip up to see Grandma and Grandpa again, I thought that was exciting enough but we did so much more.

We started early early Friday morning. Anton and I got to ride in the back of the truck, while the girls rode in the front with Mom, sissies! The cool dogs ride in the back. I got to talk to a lot of people along the way, each time we stopped to get gas I said "hi" to all the people around me. Mom told me to stop barking at everybody, I was just saying "hi". But people laughed and said hi anyway. After what seemed like forever we finally got to Grandma and Grandpa's house and that is when the fun started!!
We got to run around and see Scout, Maggie and Nicholas, that was nice. But then Mom took us to the beach. Holly cow was that fun!!! At first I stayed close to the shore and played with Anton. Then I decided that Lucy and Libby were having more fun then me, so I tried swimming for the first time. Well, it went okay, I was not as graceful as Lucy and Libby. But at least I can say that I tried, that is more than I can say for Anton, he didn't swim.

I only had one mishap when I almost drown Libby, but she ended up being okay. We had fun swimming but we were not allowed to go back in the house until later that night, I am not sure why Mom didn't want us in the house. That little baby dog Abby got to go in the house. Spoiled Brat.

The next day we got up early again and drove with Grandma to the art show. It started out as nice day, I got to sit outside and hang out with Mom all day. The other dogs had to stay in the truck. Things were going good and then people started to come around, then more and more people. It was hard to take my naps, everytime I started to drift off to sleep somebody would come and wake me up and bug me. I guess it was okay because almost everybody usually stopped to pet me. That was nice. We also walked around the art show too, that was fun, but we usually didn't get very far and Mom would stop and talk to people and somebody would pet me or pat me on the head then we would start walking again. I got to meet my first little girl at the art show too. She was nice and she smelled like cookies too. But then she started to climb on me, which was okay for a little while and then I had enough and Mom took the little girl away.
When the art show was over, we had to help pack things up and say goodbye to everybody. Abby supervised the clean up. I hope we get to go again next year! I am glad the art show was only two days I was very tired when it was all done.

So we went home and settled back into our regular daily routine. That was nice after our trip. We spent an uneventful week recovering from our trip.

Abby is having a sleep over this weekend. She has her little friend Snickers over. She use to live with Snickers before she came to live with Mom. They seem to get along pretty good. I guess she is okay for a little dog.

Well, I guess it is time for me to get to bed. Talk to everybody another time. Good night.

Almost forgot, the girls picked the new girly colors. The boys were out numbered. Not sure I really care for it too much. Oh well, the girls win again.

Happy Birthday Anton!

Happy Birthday 3rd Birthday Anton!!
Hey everybody. Guess what today is my birthday!! It has been a pretty good day for me. The bad part was that we had to sit for the pictures. That is pretty hard. But after the pictures where done I got my birthday present, a new bone!!!! I was pretty excited, maybe in a few days I will share it, but for now it is mine. Mom said that this weekend I can have a party with cake!! Mom said even Eve my friend from the kennel can come over too. So it should be a fun weekend!

Fozzies Bad Week

Hi everybody. I know it has been awhile since any of us have posted on the blog. So far this has been a lazy uneventful summer. I did have kind of a bad week.

The week started off by Mom taking me to the kennel, I thought that was going to play. Boy was I wrong, I ended up in the bathtub. As if that was not bad enough she had to take pictures! But I do have to admit I did look pretty good when she was done.

Then a few days later Mom and I got in the truck, I thought we were going for a ride or a walk downtown. But wrong again, we went to the doctor. I get really nervous when I go to those places. I did see a new Doctor, her name is Dr. Danna. She was really nice until she told Mom that I was fat. Well she didn't use those exact words, but that is what she meant. So now I guess I am on a diet.

I thought that I was done and we could go home, but just when I thought I was leaving this lady took me away from Mom. I really don't remember that after that. I do remember when Mom finally came to get me I felt different and very tired. I just wanted to go home and go to sleep. So that is what I did. All the other dogs kept bugging me and wanted to see what was going on, but I just wanted to sleep.

When I felt a bit better Mom explained what has happened. I got neutered. I wasn't sure what that was. All I know is I felt a bit different. After some long and hard thinking for a few days I came to the conclusion that it was okay to be neutered. Anton said it was no big deal. So maybe it wasn't such a big deal. Anton is pretty smart.

It's been almost a week and I can hardly remember that anything happened and I can hardly remember that anything is missing. So I guess my lesson is no matter what happens life goes on!

Road Trip

Hi Everybody it's Anton! We had a very exciting time last weekend. We all went to see Grandpa, Grandma, Nicholas, Maggie and Scout in the U.P. It was Fozzie's first road trip. At first I don't think he really knew what was going on. I think he thought we were going to work with Mom. But then the trip got longer and longer. I kept telling him that we were going up north, but he didn't get it. It was a fun ride, the cool dogs (us labradoodles) got to ride in the back of the truck. We had a lot of room to get up and walk around, a nice bed to hang out on. I like riding in the back because you can see more of what is going on. The fun spot was the back, Libby and Abby sat in the front with Mom, Wimps!!!

Even though the ride was long it was worth it! We always have fun when we go to Grandpa and Grandma's. We get to run around with Maggie and Scout. Fozzie had a good time too, I thought he would have a hard time because he is afraid of everything. But he had a good time and seemed to settle in to Grandpa and Grandma's house. Fozzie and Lucy saw their first deer, they were everywhere in the yard. We had fun running after them, but Mom always called us back. Fozzie got to go over and meet the neighbors and he even got to get out of the truck at Burger King so Grandpa's friends could see him. I really don't know what the big deal is with him, he's just a big labradoodle. But I guess he's okay, kinda of fun to have around when he's not being a duff.
The most fun was when we got to go swimming! I don't think that Fozzie really knew what was going on. He has never been swimming before!!! I jumped out of the truck and ran right into Lake Superior and he followed me. We ran and played for a long time. One time Fozzie fell off the rock ledge into the deep water and he actually swam. It wasn't a pretty site but he did it. Mom was afraid that he might not make it back up on the ledge and then she would have to go in after him. But somehow he managed to get back onto ledge. Mom was very happy to see that he got back up because she didn't want to have to go get him. She said the water was very cold. We didn't care, we just had fun. That was the most fun we had in a long time.

It was a long ride home. We were all so tired that we slept most of the way home. We had a great time, but it is good to be home. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma we all had a great time.
